Benedictine Hall: The First University Building

Benedictine Hall was the University's first academic building, opening in 1901. Commonly referred to as Ben Hall, it housed the University's classrooms, offices, cafeterias, libraries and dormitories. Everything a student needed could be found in Ben Hall. This historic building was part of Benedictine history for more than a century, and was torn down in 2004.
